What is important to The Pursuit?
Passionate Worship
We will not reserve our best praise for the things of this world, but we will pour out our hearts to God with everything we have. We refuse to worship a God as great as ours with our hands in our pockets.
Unchurched People
We are committed to removing all obstacles that would prevent people from finding God, and will do anything short of sin to reach those far from Him.
Relevant Bible-Teaching
We are not here to give information. We desire to unleash the transforming power of the Word of God in our lives. We are committed to explaining it clearly so that people are inspired to follow Him in every area of their lives.
Stewardship of our Resources
Everything belongs to God. We will not give in to the pressure of becoming consumers but will take our rightful place as investors of Godʼs resources. We will spend less on our kingdom so that we can contribute more to God's.
Unity in our Ministries
We are not just an organization; we are a family, and will fight for each other. We are dedicated to whatever it takes to remain united as a team to impact our valley and change the world.
Intimacy in our Relationships
We refuse to be just a crowd of people who show up for a Sunday service. We will gather in Life Groups during the week in order to know, love, and serve one another so the world will know that God has changed us.
Training for Ministry
We are here not to be served, but to serve with excellence. Our desire is to have every Pursuiter serving in their sweet spot and we will strive to train and encourage volunteers so that they can reach their full potential as a part of the team.
